The exhibit for meerkats (Suricata suricatta) and yellow mongooses (Cynictis penicillata) in the new Great Plains exhibit in ZOO Antwerpen. The meerkats and mongooses also have access to the new lion exhibit through a series of tunnels.
The new Great Plains exhibit opened in July 2011 where the camels and yaks were formerly housed. These pictures were taken just a few days before opening.
