The exhibit for Malayan tapirs (Tapirus indicus) in the Hippotopia theme in ZOO Antwerpen. The land area in this exhibit is quite small but nicely forested. The water area is unusually large for this species and it would be interesting to know how much the tapirs use it?
The bright red/white tape in this picture was a temporary measure while a new tapir got used to the exhibit (and in particular the electric fence).
Hippotopia opened in 2006 and is one of the newest themes in the zoo housing various wetland creatures.
