Zoo - Egyptian Entrance

With so many boring zoo entrances, this is definitely one of the most interesting.

(The entrance situation is slowly improving, though, with new ones like Cincinnati and Seattle and the upcoming redo at Phoenix).

I think that this is probably one of the top 5 zoo entrances in North America, as Memphis has really embraced its Egyptian roots (same name as a famous African city) and even the cool pyramids that one sees as they enter the city are iconic. Memphis is one of the top 20 largest cities in the United States in terms of population, and there are many ZooChatters that think that the zoo is perhaps in the top 20 as well.
