@DavidBrown It certainly seems like it, with gorilla, polar bear and penguin statues near the entrance while the entire zoo is prominently focused on indigenous wildlife. It's all very bizarre...although the gorilla statues placed in the deep forest (showcased in another photo) creates an effective 'double-take' with many visitors. Heads whip around in disbelief as the gorillas look quite realistic when set against the trees.
