Thanks for taking pictures of Peoria Zoo snowleopard. This zoo really looks like it has grown a ton in the past few years. This zoo combined with the nearby Wildlife Prairie Park seems like it would be great to see in the same day since Peoria Zoo lacks a North American section and Wildlife Prairie lacks anything outside of North America.

Did you happen to see the Zambian Giant Mole Rats?
In 2009 the $25 million African section opened and then in 2012 the new entrance complex and Australian walk-through also both made their debut. This is a zoo going places! I did see the mole rats and here is the species list for the Small Animal Building in the African zone:
The species list: Zambian Giant Mole Rats, Black-and-Rufous Elephant Shrew, Zebra Mice, Madagascar Tree Boa, Pancake Tortoise, Taveta Golden Weaver, Emperor Scorpion and Madagascar Hissing Cockroach.
