It is indeed a miracle that an American zoo has a guidebook, and I bought this as well as the Gladys Porter Zoo's history book (2007) on my visit last summer.
If not for your review last year, I wouldn't even have known GPZ had this book! In fact, I wouldn't have known they even had a souvenir shop! And probably not even this guidebook either, hadn't it been featured in the ticket booth!
