Zoo Jihlava has a huge collection of wild cats. In addition to those in the cat house, the zoo also keeps European lynxes, sand cats in the Africa house, snow leopards and Persian leopards in the Himalayas area, and caracal, Pallas\' cat, jungle cat and European wild cat.
This is not true. Enclosures of this size and quality for big cats can be seen in many UK zoos.
Here's some advice. It comes from a good place. This is a forum with a diverse range of pro-zoo opinions, but virtually everyone on here routinely criticises zoos in many ways. So no-one is going to have a go at you for saying an enclosure is bad (though almost certainly someone will disagree with you ).
But, if your first ten posts are all negative and very judgemental, it is going to raise hackles. That's why people are reacting the way that they are.
I think many would agree that this is not a good enclosure. But it is not hell on Earth either.
