Thanks for this one, it's a nice map with all the detailed structure depictions. I see a suid-like icon on the padddock that now houses the okapi, does anybody know what species was there at the time?
I had no clue how many of the large species remained at London this recently; some of them I thought had been phased out much earlier. Crazy to think how much can change in only twenty five years.
The bearded pigs were originally held there and I remember seeing the peccaries in the first enclosure to the left of the bridge which is part of the wild dog enclosure now
@ajmcwhipsnade Just a quick question. What did the Casson Pavillion had? From what I gathered, it had indian elephants, white rhinos, black rhinos and indian rhinos. Did they had something else?
@Xavier GM When I first visited London Zoo it only had Asian Elephants and Black Rhino (with agouti in the elephant moat). Also eventually the Pygmy hippos had winter quarters there. It definitely held White Rhino at some point in the past but I’m not entirely sure what else I’m
