Very cool! Where did you get this map? Did you visit the Planckendael Zoo in 2002, if so, what was your visit there like? The map depicted here looks different than how the zoo looks today.
@UngulateNerd92 I visited the zoo several times during the early years of this century.
I really liked it. I remember a lot of paddock like exhibits, but also a large number of ungulates. The Snow Leopard exhibit was pretty cool. The zoo was also I believe working on the restoration of European Otters and had a section devoted to that effort.
@Pleistohorse Ah very nice! I was going to say, I was impressed by the number of rows of hoofed mammal paddocks featured on this map. I like the simplistic rectangular designs of each paddock and the symmetry of those exhibits featured on the park map is grounding.
