The zebras will move and the rest are not even at the zoo (as far as we know). Also next year the next phase will open with two new yards for cheetahs and lions (current white lions) placed across from each other.
Edit:
Then after that (2014) the hoofstock and large bird yard and restaurant looking over the vista. Then after that (2015), yards for Nile crocodiles, Nile hippopotamuses, and African wild dogs. The original plans also included baboons, rarer hoofstock, meerkats, bat-eared foxes, a kopjie, and a walk-through aviary.
Here's a list of the species I now suspect to be part of it.
-Masai giraffe
-Greater flamingo
-East African crowned crane
-Cheetah
-Southeast African lion
-Ostrich
-Grevy's Zebra
-Impala
-Marabou Stork
-Kori bustards (maybe not)
-Nile croc
-Nile hippo
-African wild dog
Well there are already 3 species (giraffe, flamingo, crane), in there, which means that 5 (cats, hippos, crocs, and dogs) other medium sized exhibits and the large savanna one. It is a total of 8 acres and also by looking at the map and being at the zoo, I would say the zoo could fit 4 Wildlife Canyons in there. This is what I think.
Here's the original plans. http://images.wikia.com/travel/en/images/b/b0/Africa_cincinnati_zoo.png
So the restaurants will be the now birthday building. The lion exhibit would probably take up about a quarter of the hoofstock. The kopjie could be a place for crocodiles but the Nile theme of it wouldn't fit since it would further away from the hippos. On the top it shows the baboons tkaing over the Botanical Center, as the greenest zoo is America, I doubt they would do make those plans. As for the possible fox or meerkat exhibit, this would have probably not fit because the path from the center to the Zoo Cafe (future African restaurant) is very narrow.
