I've visited Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo on three occasions (2008, 2012, 2018) and on my first visit I recall the section in the bottom left-hand corner of the map. There was a big herd of Gaur then and at one point the zoo had more than 60 Gaur in total. In that area was to be found rarities like Blue Monkeys in corn-crib cages and Raccoon Dogs, both almost unheard of in North American zoos at that time and even today! So much has now changed and I didn't know about the Mandrills near the Wild Kingdom Pavilion. It would be neat if someone had a photo of that old exhibit.
Ah yes, this is from around 92-93. I remember this layout pretty vividly from my younger years. Next time I am at my parents house, I will dust off old photo albums that I know we have of times of the Omaha Zoo in this time period to see if there are any of old exhibits. I remember that Mandrill exhibit quite well, essentially was a "corn crib" attached to a small house.
