Some of the hoofstock exhibits at Zoo Negara are actually impressive, but as usual it is the carnivores and omnivores who suffer in terrible enclosures. This Sumatran serow enclosure features some large trees, and it would not look out of place at a major zoo in the western world.
I think actually that any Western zoo would be proud of this exhibit! I have seen so many Serow exhibits over the years (for Chinese Serow of course) that I cannot recall them all but nonetheless this one would be among the very best!
