The indoor exhibit for blue moustached monkeys, a very rare species, by the tropical hall in the rainforest-biotope of the Africa theme in ZOOM Erlebniswelt, Germany. Decent exhibit with lots of plants, climbing opportunities and natural light. Combined with the outdoor exhibit the total size for the monkeys is approx. 100 sqm or 1077 sq ft.
Unfortunately this exhibit is located right by an indoor playground for children making it a rather noisy place to be.
ZOOM Erlebniswelt is a brand new zoo built completely from scratch on the site of the old Ruhr Zoo. It is divided into three large themes: Alaska (2005), Africa (2006) and Asia (2010).
