You might be right Mario, as there are not that many classic spectacled bear exhibits that immediately come to mind. Maybe you should start a thread on the best zoo exhibits for all 8 species of bears. Grizzly, american black, asiatic black, sun, sloth, polar, spectacled and giant panda. We can skip the subspecies...haha.
Queens and Houston have decent Spectacled bear exhibits. I dislike this one because of the hideous "Flintstone" rockwork and awful iron bars (with spikes!). No doubt the animal space is very nice but it has serious flaws from a public presentation standpoint. It seems like something from the East Berlin zoo--big but poorly detailed.
We need a ranking of North American bear exhibits, and then a separate list of worldwide bear exhibits. The spectacled bear/coati habitat at the Zurich Zoo is perhaps one of the greatest zoo enclosures of all time!
