Hey everyone! My name's Nate. Currently I am travelling to different parts of the world as a backpacker. I first decided to visit some zoos I went to about 8 years ago, however since then I have been visiting every zoo I come across. This averages out to five zoos a month! I've fallen in love with zoos, and wanted to join a community that feels the same. My view on animals in captivity? I believe animals should only be in zoos for three reasons. 1. To educate the public and bring awareness to endangered species.
2. To give medical care before rehabilitation (unless animal is deemed unfit to enter wild again).
3. To protect and help breed if species is nearly extinct.
