Dang, so it sounds like even if they caught it earlier, it was untreatable. I wonder what they'll do with the space now, renovating the area would be a huge task since not only do they have to redo Claude's old space, they'd have to redo the entire gallery since it's all based on the South Eastern US. I wonder if they'll try and pursue another albino alligator knowing the inevitable health risks or settle for a standard american alligator.
It was always funny when you overheard the occasional visitor asking if he was dead and/or a a statue because his primary habit was laying still, like most gators
Or the people clamoring on their social media that his "habitat/space is too small" :rolleyes: (at least from a non-reptile person, his habitat looked pretty good), not like he was highly active anyways like you said
