Bornean orangutan, “Mei”, at Cameron Park is pregnant and due with her third infant in January with sire, “KJ”.

Sumagu, a 38-year-old female orangutan, and her 7-year-old daughter, Kera, arrived to Louisville from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado -- a more than 1,100-mile journey.
Sumagu comes with a future breeding recommendation from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Orangutan Species Survival Plan (SSP).
