It absolutely did!I saw photog my aunt took. it looked to span both floors. Cool concept.
The next two temporary exhibits both also utilized the same space for two story exhibits. I do not recall all of the details unfortunately but it was redone to be a tropical forest and at least one of the exhibits (Nyassa, the lake victoria one) it featured enormous orb weavers in an open fronted enclosure.
Honestly, to hop on a apple box for a quick second, the temporary exhibits the neaq featured through the 90s and early 2000s were such a huge part of my childhood and I miss them dearly. I would check the mailbox every day for the members newsletter to see what was to come and I saw so many incredible species for the first time in that wing.
