He had just been given a couple of Christmas trees with food in them, and while eating one of the treats, he looks up/left/right and I took a series of pictures, and this was in the middle of that series, how adorable!
A drawing (about A6 size/12x10cm/ 5x4 inches) I did in the notebook I am filling in right now. It is an Amur tiger and possibly the best drawing I have ever made of that subspecies. Hope you like it :)
The entire page will be up in due course (maybe tomorrow).
I forget what kind of wild cat this is, but there's a small section of the zoo that has several small cats that look like they could be domesticated house-cats. Very cute little guys.
Edit: Amur Leopard Cat per Ituri. Thanks:)
According to the sign this method of feeding is 'Unique in Europe'. It may have been when they started but I'm sure I have seen other collections do something very similar. Anyone else?

The new tiger enclosure for amur tigers in Wuppertal Zoo, is huge, and has to be one of the best i have seen. It opened in May 2007 along with the new lion enclosure.

This is one of the 2 Amur Leopard cubs at Twycross Zoo in England.
They are both male and their mother died when they were about 8 weeks old. Their mother was called Izzy and their father is called Diesel. The cubs are called Calvin and Davidoff.
Taken in May 2007.
