If you look closely, you can see Asian black bear male in the small cage. Female and young were in the larger exhibit. While I understand the need of keeping the male separated from the young, he was just walking around in this small cage, maybe just twice or three times as long as him.

I really hope this exhibit, originally surely meant for monkeys, was only very temporarily used for turtles.

Western swamphen aviary, decent size, but I was surprised that it lacked any water feature.

This 2023, so the mongooses were still afraid of lions and just kept inside this small enclosure.
