Recently some messages suggested a phasing out process of the Coatis in the EU. (most of them published by British [so non-EU...] zoochatters)
The advanced reason is linked with the invasive potential of the species.
But I haven't the impression that these animals become really rare in EU...
I said this topic in my other thread, but I opened this thread by I want to find out more examples about it.
Just like the title, I want you to tell me about the cases of coatis and other species of animals mixed in same exhibit. And please also said too what positive effects such mix had...

Im a degree student studying zoo management and animal behaviour and am writing a report comparing the nutrition of captive vs wild Coatis.
I was just wondering if anyone in here works with/has worked with them or even knows anything about could suggest anywhere i could find more...
This enclosure held Siberian tigers untill 2015, when the two inhabitants passed away. Later is temporarily housed the young male spectacled bear Oberon, born at the ZOO in 2013. Now it temporarily houses a group of coati, which will go back to their normal enclosure, shared with a spectacled bear.
