I went to Cologne Zoo in the summer of 2007 and enjoyed this zoo very much. I have a few questions about it's future development:

The plan for the new Hippo House at Cologne Zoo. This is the next big project, and is supposed to be finished in 2010. The house will be the home of common hippopotamus and nile crocodile.

The little blue penguins at Cologne Zoo, another very rare species in Europe. According to ISIS, Bristol Zoo is the only other zoo in Europe to keep this species.

Cologne Zoo is the only zoo in Europe to keep this rare species. They hold 2.3 douc langurs, one of the males being a baby, born in March 2007.
