I really don't know if there is already a thread for this, but I can't find 1 for it in the Zoo Cafe, and I searched on several keywords, but I found nothing, so: what is your favorite food.
There are of course many delicious dishes, but I still think my favorite is croquettes, preferably potato...
Sorry if there is already a thread for this, but I couldn't find one, and also sorry if I seem to have copied someone's idea (which I haven't because I wanted to post this thread for a long time). So as the thread title says, what are your favorite zoo games and maybe why?
My list is as follows...
What are your favourite enclosure barrier types?
Including:
- Glass
- Rock boulders
- Fencing
etc.
I personally like moats, invisinet fencing and natural/natural looking barriers because you feel closer to the animals. Although you may prefer a certain type of barrier for easier photography...
As I was listening to the roar-bark of the maned wolf, it go me thinking, what are zoochatters favorite animal sounds? I will post my top 3 (not in any order)
1. Wapiti
2. Maned wolf
3. Wolf/coyote
What are yours?
Edit:Thought I might put up videos to my favorite sounds...
If you could only visit one zoo in your life, what zoo would that be? I know that for many people it is unpossible to choose, but if you were going to chose only one, what zoo would you chose? I would think that most zoo-enthusiasts would visit a zoo with a large collection, but also good...
Yes, yes, I know. I made another thread. This time I'd like to see what your favorite zoo and aquarium visiting memories are.
Here's mine,
Interacting with a Beluga Whale, throught the exhibit glass, at Mystic Aquarium.
Seeing a Red Panda on a branch within reaching distance with no barriers...
I'm writing a paper over what makes a good zoo, and I would like some feedback on what you think makes a zoo good. What brings you in and makes you feel like you haven't wasted your time or money by going to the zoo.
It's much appreciated.
