This thread is dedicated to the Parc floral de la Source, a botanical park in Orléans (Central France) with a few animal exhibits including a petting farm, some bird aviaries, a flamingo pond and a butterfly house.

Over time, I've noticed that not much seems to have changed in AZA's Ciconiiformes/Phoenicopteriformes TAG. It's good that we have a number of species within it, but I think it would be good to focus on some different species for the future. I've noticed that other TAGS are phasing out species...

This is an older article, but still interesting I think, so I ´m posting it here. Take a look on the original article too because it contains a pic of the prevaling foot damages. It is a little sad that zoo flamingos don´t have the same public lobby as let say elephants or apes.
