memories

I've been thinking a lot about all the zoos I've been to and the individual memories I have at each of them. This thread is for people who have funny stories relating to wildlife to post them for everyone.

With lots of discussion on the Bristol Zoo thread regarding its closure, I thought that it would be nice to have a place to talk about our memories and experiences... I'll get something posted in the next few days, but for now... I'll leave it to you guys :(

On Boxing day of 1984 I visited Schonbrunn zoo along with my grandfather, my mother and my aunt. Being a 9 year old at the time can remember only a very few things from what we saw. Also my grandfather was the only one fluent in german so we had to rely on him for any information from the signs...
