I made this thread to bust the popular “Sugar glider co-hab = bad idea” rumor, or not. It’s still an interesting idea to see if there have been any cases where a sugar glider & another mammal species roaming around in the same enclosure worked out well. Not only just a thread but also helps zoo...

The zoo's developments consist of building 3 mixed species exhibits of around 16,000 m2 in size each holding its African ungulate collection.

The new rainforest house in Dortmund Zoo, built to house sumatran orang-utans and malayan tapirs. The outdoor enclosure is split in two by a low wall of rocks, keeping the tapirs on one side, but letting the orangs use both sides.
