I definitely had fun playing with the editing on this one. I love how the unfocused dappled trees in the background compliment the peacock's feathers. Its a bit of an older photo but I think it holds up pretty well.
What North America Zoos still have free roaming Peafowl?
Bonus if you know how they are managed. Are they treated as part of the collection or wild? Is their diet supplemented? Are they and/or their young protected from wild predators?

So I went to the zoo the other day. And a keeper was telling people that they have female peacocks running around. And it made me want to scream that they aren't peacocks that they are peahens. And the bird is called a peafowl. Like it's spreading misinformation about the bird.
