Taken from the Marble Park Zoo, a Collab zoo I'm working on. The habitats of the Siberian tigers and Formosan black bears are only separated by a moat. This gives the illusion that the tigers-- natural predators of the bears-- are separated from their prey by much less than they actually are.
A pair of habitats in my zoo separated by a moat. One houses Baird's tapirs and giant anteaters, the other has jaguars. From a distance, the big cats appear to be separated from their prey by a very minimal barrier.
