Last Thursday a female Loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta) was found on one of the beaches on Sylt and brought to the Sylt Aquarium. She appeared to be weakened and bleeding from her beak, in the aquarium she will be examined by experts. Source: Website of NDR (23/12/2023)
