Uromastyx spp. Location: Heart of Africa (Hidden Savannah). One, or both, of the two signed species in this exhibit, namely: Uromastyx aegyptia (also known as: Egyptian spiny-tailed lizard) and/or U. geyri (also known as: Geyr's spiny-tailed lizard, Sahara mastigure, etc).
Hi Guys I would of posted this in the Media section but the place this was taken at wasn't even on there, it is called Greensburgh Nature Center in NY. Anyways I know this is a Uromastyx but I learned that Uromastyx is the name for several species under the same genus. Soooo I need you guys help...
Today I got myself a Uromastyx lizard that is very underweight (approx. 70-80g at the moment). I took it on as a favour to a friend that had 2 males together (the other male is fine) in the hope that separating would help.
Does anybody have any tips on getting it to attain a healthy weight...
