PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium's current attendance is over 988,000 for 2008, and zoo officials hope to hit the millionth mark by year's end.
The person who is the millionth zoo-goer will receive a lifetime zoo membership, a $500 shopping spree at the gift shop and a behind-the-scenes tour for 10 people.
The zoo did a similar promotion last year, finding their millionth customer on Dec. 7.
