To celebrate World Lion Day at Linton Zoo a whole day full of activities is being planned.
The more interesting ones for us zoochatters will be the standard Lion Talk at 2 and the evening talk at 5:15 which will include about an hours walk and talk given by a keeper featuring all the big cats and then a lion feed to conclude. The zoo will be open till 7 for the special event.
Very good reviews from last year, I hope some of you can make it! Lion feeds are not done at the zoo very often so it is a unique opportunity to stay slightly later than normal closing and to see them enjoy their food outside. If you buy a raffle ticket you can even help feed the lions yourself!
