Yorkshire Wildlife Park 14 rescued lions

Has anybody got any news on the lions that are coming to the Yorkshire Wildlife park from Romania on November 1st. I read on facebook that they may not be coming now till January but there is no official news on the parks website?

The website says they have £117,779.69, which is 79% of the money needed.

i hope they do get them, and id be all like woop woop, i wish i could donate the rest of the pennies but i dont have that much copper...

Hi - I was at the YWP recently and this is the first mention I've heard of the lions having an arrival date. I think someone said they hoped to get them before the end of the year, but I don't think that's 100% certain yet. They also mentioned that some of the lions may not be brought to Britain as some of them are considered too frail to be moved sadly.

Nice to see someone else on here with positive comments about this project, and like you I'm really looking forward to seeing the lions in their new home next year!
