3 weeks to Singapore/Indonesia

Dear members of Zoochat,

I'm hoping to get myself to Indonesia in August. Those who know me will also know that I'm aiming for a wild diversity of animals. Having crossed my total species count of 9000 a few months ago, this is a serious attempt to reach the 10.000 species. That means I will be visiting bird markets, fish stores, zoos, nature parks or even go moth trapping at night.

I have nothing booked yet, but the plan is to spend at least a full week on Java. This island is home to lots of interesting zoos, like Batu Secret Zoo and its otter civet, or Lembang with its hairy-nosed otter. Then possibly a week in Malaysia for parks like Taiping or Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. Closing/starting off with a few days in Singapore. Borneo is not off the table either, maybe just a day or two or three.

Looking for another interested soul who wants to discover as many local species of South East Asia as possible. I'm not rich at all, so let's travel as cheaply (but responsibly) as possible.

Drop me a message if interested. I should have enough personal contacts to at least see some specialities. Prigen Conservation Breeding Ark with species like Indonesian mountain weasel & giant flying squirrels is on board!

Kind regards,
