The Balabac mouse deer mentioned previously are actually in quarantine (or were) in Wroclaw zoo in Poland.
A group of 8 animals were imported, and in quarantine one of the females has given birth to Europes first born Balabac mouse deer.
The animals were imported directly from the Philippines, and will be sent to other European zoos.
The animals, according to the website should be on display in the spring of next year.
