A free day to visit?

I have a day to spare in September so was wondering which would be the best place to visit I am a Birding man myself.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park – Polar bears
Blackpool zoo
Shepreth zoo
Birdworld – Bird collection
Hawk Conservation Trust – Bird Collection
Lotherton Bird Garden

All the above are reachable by train from New Street Birmingham so please let me know which would be the best for me

Lotherton. Although no longer entirely a bird collection, it’s still well worth a visit.
 
I'd personally go for YWP, wouldn't fancy making the effort for Shepreth by train unless you could tack on Linton or Hamerton (the former has a bus stop outside, the latter is a nightmare by public transport!).
Is Bird World really that easy to reach from Birmingham? I imagine it's a very long train journey? Not somewhere I've ever personally considered for a day trip, but then my tastes lean towards small things with sharp teeth, I'm not massively into our feathered friends... :)
 
Birdworld -

Birmingham new street - Reading - Guildford - Farnham then bus or taxi
did that trip 3 years ago about 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours if you miss connection
 
You can walk through some woodlands to reach Birdworld from Farnham station. It may be best to do the aquarium first as it was closed before I left the bird collection.
 
Have finally decided will be doing -

Lotherton Hall, Tropical Birdland (if open), Chester & West Midland Safari Park in September
Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Blackpool, Birdland, Cotswold Falconry & Hawk Conservancy Trust in October that's it for this year then back to birding my local patch after
