A Zoo Hater Confronts the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Wild Animal Park

The title of the article is a little misleading as it brings to mind someone who is ideologically opposed to zoos, rather than just someone who thinks they are boring
 
This was not a bad review. I think that he calls himself a zoo hater in a "tongue in cheek" manner.

I agree with Ituri. I was fully expecting to read some shred piece about how someone despises zoos and all the reasons why they shouldn't exist or there was some sort of physical/verbal confrontation, but instead it was an article about how someone who doesn't like zoos went to the ones in San Diego and enjoyed themselves, somewhat. It was a nice surprise that it was the latter and not the former, but you can't tell that by the title.

Thank you for sharing the article, though. I wonder why the author is such a 'zoo hater' other than the high cost of things. And the people who complain about the costs, I wonder if they realize the money earned on souvenir and food sales helps keep the animals fed...?
