The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is a 200-acre facility located in Girdwood, Alaska. The center focuses on fauna that inhabits Alaska, including wolverine, wood bison, Alaskan moose, brown bear, Stika black-tailed deer, muskox, Canada lynx, bald eagle, and great horned owl, among others.

On January 30th, the center announced that they have been awarded a $250,000 grant from Matson to help fund an Ocean Education Center, to be located at "the point" where the facility meets the Turnagain Arm waterway. Features at the center would include a full-sized beluga whale skeleton, interpretive signs, and a hydrophone for underwater sounds.
