Why would people do that?! And the fact that not one out of the people watching went to find a keeper or security person is ridiculous! 
Unbelievable indeed! Baboons are no helpless animals who wait patiently to be beaten up. If they didn't decide to attack, they obviously had the choice to climb out of reach.
