Dalseong Park Zoo is a zoo in Daegu, South Korea. It is known for its old facilities and poor animal welfare but has been scheduled to undergo a big change in years to come. These are the animals in Dalseong Park Zoo I’ve seen in June 2023.
Deer Enclosure (사슴사): Guanaco, Formosan Sika Deer, Mouflon, Fallow Deer, Grant’s Zebra, Common Ostrich, Miniature Horse
Peacock enclosure (공작사): Indian Peafowl, Domestic Turkey, Common Kestrel
Eagle enclosure (독수리사): Common Buzzard, Eurasian eagle-owl, White-tailed eagle, Cinereous vulture
Ape enclosure: Chimpanzee
Wolf enclosure (Does not have wolves anymore): Coyote, Red fox, Common raccoon dog, Crested porcupine, Asian badger
Bear enclosure: Ussuri brown bear
Water aviary: Grey heron, Canadian goose, White stork, Mute swan, Domestic goose, Mallard, Muscovy duck, Mandarin duck, Little egret, Eastern great egret, Black-crowned night heron
Pheasant enclosure: Common pheasant, Helmeted guineafowl, Reeves’s pheasant, Swinhoe’s pheasant, Silver pheasant, Lady Amherst’s pheasant, Golden pheasant
Seal enclosure: South American fur seal
