Are you guys Democrat or Republican? Or do you vote any other parties, or do you simply dont care? For all the Americans out there, please vote this poll, and tell us a little about the political issuses you are most concerned with:).
 
I'm a registered Democrat. I have been since the month I turned 18 and registered for a political party because A) Connecticut requires party membership to vote in primaries and my Mother is right, it is fun to vote in primaries and B) it was free. Want to freak out? I think there is some kind of primary tomorrow but I don't know if it is one for the Democrats or not (it may just be for Republicans), I don't know whether I need to go down and vote or not. I think I had better go find out.

Okay, it turns out I didn't have to, but its good to check just in case.

Also, I am vehemently pro choice, pro national healthcare, pro gay rights, very much into fighting poverty, racism, etc., and I think we need to do more to protect the environment, pretty much your garden variety American Liberal, with a few personal twists (I have somewhat of a conservative streak, but I am not a bible thumping gun nut). Basically I don't have a problem with people hunting whitetail deer and I had no problem with it being illegal for beer to be sold after 8 p.m.

Inevitable when the Left and the Right start fighting healthcare, our NHS is great.

I don't see how anybody could vote Republican, they haven't even pretended to have had your interests at heart since Eisenhower. That being said, in the context of Zoo's we must thank Nixon for bringing Ling-Ling and Hsing-Hsing to the west and starting Panda Diplomacy (damn commies with their Panda!!!)
