The former roadside zoo Biopark Štít ´s been sold by Antonin Hnizdil to a new owner Ladislav Rabina sometime during winter. And re-opened under a new name Animal Park Rabina few days ago. It seems the property changed hands including most of the original animal collection.
Quality of enclosures is barely there to keept animals contained inside and not be called outright cruelty by locals, but dont expect anything more. It´s an unlicensed countryside zoo with more than a dozen of big cats including white tigers and balck leopards, some monkeys and other species. No rarities. They collect entry fee (9 euro) but call it "animal feeding allowance" to circumvent zoo licencing act.
