animal photos.

Nightmares

I hope that Ms DeRemer owns the copyright of the original images or that she has paid the photographers handsomely.

Pictures in this style were quite popular 10 or 12 years ago, so it is not new thing.
Does author must pay photographers in case when she doesn't get profit at all?

Those pictures are really great! :)
The information on the bottom about what animals the pictures are a cross between is not very accurate though. Particularly number 15.

Since she seems to be represented by a gallery or agency, I think that she is at least hoping to make money from these images, but I presume that the agency or gallery would have sorted out the copyrights. I doubt whether manipulating photos in this way could possibly be described as 'fair use' and so she would need the permission of the copyright holder and I would certainly expect to be paid for my permission in this case, even if she didn't make any money from them.
