So I'm wondering if some of my fellow ZooChatters do art, and incorporate their love of animals into it. I think it would be fun to have people post pictures. <3
I draw, but I'm not very good at it. I normally do a lot of cartoony stuff, but I've been practicing more realistic stuff based on photo references. When I get any good, I'll post some drawings.
Lately I've taken a liking to making plush toys. This is the first one I've ever made, from earlier this year. I didn't have a machine and it took all day. Some people look at him and scream "THIS IS PROOF THAT NO LOVING GOD EXISTS" but he's the first plush toy I ever made and I made him with love. <3
My more recent attempts have been better. Right now I'm mostly focusing on cetaceans and fish because they're easier to do, but I'm gonna move on to other animals soon. I don't have photos of the others I've made, but I do have this basilosaurus I made after getting a machine. It's a bit lumpy and the mouth shape is wrong, but it's a significant improvement over murderwhale up there.
