Hi, just come across this page whilst looking for information about the necessary size aviary I need for a pair of Blue and Gold Macaws as they may be my next project.

Anyway, I work a lot with zoos in the UK and abroad and with conservation projects so anything zoo based I'm interested in and I've got a few animals myself from gerbils to chipmunks and chickens to Pygmy Goats

If you are interested in anything zoo based, you have definitely come to the right place. Glad to have you.
 
Welcome aboard Mr Chips, I see from the Bristol zoo monkey temple page you have a very interesting collection, more of a zoo than mine, but friends still call mine a menagerie.
Like you i started a love of animals by seeing them in very unsuitable conditions compared to today, But They where all we had back then and I loved them any way, I feel dreadful now that people supported such places, (Newcastle winter zoo etc) but they were of there time I suppose
