On the website from the Antwerp Zoo there's a part where you can see pictures from many years ago! They're from animals, architecture, art...
Some things you can see: the former polar bear exhibit, the Egyptian temple many years ago, the old outdoor sea lion exhibit, old monkey cages and a huge aviary...
The difference between the Antwerp Zoo from 1843 and the zoo in 2008 is huge!
The site from the Antwerp Zoo is not yet in English, only in Dutch/Flemish and French.
