Anybody wanna buy an island?

I still just get two hits: one for the gallery request thread, and one for the blue-lined surgeonfish photo.

And white tern is possibly the seabird I'd most like to see!! Especially on the nest.

They are the commonest bird here. Makes a sweet change from those annoying Indian Mynahs (Acridotheres littlef***ers)

Tokelau sounds like the island from LOST. I can't wait to read the review, because it seems to be tiny.

Nanoboy, by now you should have googled it, so you know the answer to your own question.

And while I admit that most of our American friends can be geographically challenged, it's a pretty safe bet that, until afew days ago, Chlidonias and myself were the only Zoochatters who knew of Tokelau's existence, let alone it's actual location. Well, maybe Zooboy28 and Kiwipo if they happen to have bumped into some migrants.

:p

Ahem. What makes you think that?

:D Yeah in my original post I was joking around, but I actually knew that Tokelau was a country, and I had a rough idea where it was. I let the comment slide though, as I didn't really have anything to prove to anyone. ;)

Yeah, OK, it was a generalisation. New Zealanders know of it because of all the Tokelauans in NZ, and theres a few in Australia too, but the majority of Aussies I've spoken too have never heard of it.

My apologies for lumping you with the others. But you know what I meant.

And, in theory, all Tokelauans are in New Zealand, and all are New Zealanders, as Tokelau is a NZ territory.
