Anyone recognise this?

This is a bit of a long shot, I know, but worth a try. I am working on a second edition of my book 'Bognor's Zoo' and someone who volunteered there has very kindly given me permission to use a large quantity of old photos. Amongst the photos were two like this. She can't remember the lynx and I can find no other information about them; noone seems to remember them being there. I wondered if over the years the pictures had got mixed up. The top and shape of the cage are typical 'Zootopia' c1980 but the amount of poles, wood cladding etc are not. Is there anyone out there that can either say, 'yes' that's Bognor, or 'no', it's somewhere else?

I am pretty certain that the image is of Marwell's old lynx cage (It was roughly where the owl aviaries/extension to the takin pen are).

I think so too. I have a Marwell postcard of a Lynx sitting on the same( or a similar) sawn-off Pine tree stump, though the mesh looks a bit different in the p.c.

Thanks, that's useful and with no local knowledge being forthcoming, it seems likely to me that this is from Marwell, not Hotham Park. It is certainly probably that the person concerned visited Marwell at about that time.
