Anyone see National Geographic's "China's Hidden Kingdoms" or Disney Nature's "Born in China?"

Anyone see National Geographic's China's Hidden Kingdoms, or Disney Nature's, Born in China documentaries? If so, what are your thoughts on the documentaries? Both are on Disney Plus. I watched both and found myself enjoying both documentaries quite a bit. Both gave a lot of emotion and fleshed out the creatures, giving them more of a story-like feel rather than being your typical animal documentary. Such animals covered in both documentaries include the rare golden snub-nosed monkey, giant panda, and snow leopard. I highly recommend it, and I'd love to know what others Zoo Chatters think of these documentaries, and similar ones they recommend.

I saw Born in China years ago. I was under impression it was mostly a Chinese production, with focus on Chinese mindset (praising harmony in society, reincarnation etc).

Earlier still, there was a very good BBC series Wild China with the same animals (pandas, golden monkeys etc).

I prefer BBC for wildlife films. It is my impression that best wildlife documentaries are shown by American channels with delay of some years. Then the American film is essentially the same or changed in a way which does not make it better (another presenter, another name, sometimes scenes from old films are remixed into a new film and gaps are filled with landscape shots etc).

Born in China was amazing. If you like that you'll love Chimpanzee. Another Disney Nature production set in the Congo. I never really liked Elephant, that 2020 one with Meghan Markle. It just seemed too generic.
