Reading an old copy of IZN, a report on the 1992 EEP, said that a few private holders were interested in taking on Persian fallow deer.
So question is are there any over here, i don't think there are any on public view in any UK zoo, but are there some in private collections?

An interesting question to which I think the answer is No...

Historically they have not been kept in the UK apart from possibly individuals at ZSL in the very distant past. I also looked on ISIS as I think any Private UK holders would be shown for an unusual species like this but none are shown.

I do know that the White Post Farm Park in Nottinghamshire keep Fallow Deer but no idea on what species they have.

Indeed Persian fallow deer were kept by the ZSL in the distant past; the first London Zoo specimen was acquired on 28 May 1877; six were born between 1880 and 1887.

Sadly I don't think this species have been kept in the UK for many, many years.
